     Scott is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Florida.  He also holds the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor from the Institute of Certified Bankers. 

     Scott received his law degree (Juris Doctor) as well as his bachelor degree specializing in banking and finance from Nova Southeastern University, the largest independent university in the Southeast. 

     Additionally, Scott has received diplomas from the American Institute of Banking, the Carnegie Institute, the Investment Training Institute. and the National Insitute for Trial Advocacy.  He is a past member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys as well as a past member of the AARP Legal Services Network. 

      In addition to defending over a thousand  clients in criminal matters ranging from murder to traffic offenses the firm's extensive legal experience includes major jury trials, protecting multi million dollar estates and insurance claims in excess of a million dollars.
